The grand and magnificent yellow sandstone UmaidBhavan palace was completed in the year 1994.It looks almost 15 long years in its making and is one of those last great palaces built in India. UmaidBhavan Palace has royal 105- foot high cupola which is known to be influenced by the Renaissance. The Palace towers draw inspiration from the Rajput traditions. It is built on 26 acres of land and is one of the largest private residences with about 347 rooms. The best part of this Palace is the vintage car collection of the royal family.
